Once you have chosen your shed and its dimensions, the next step is to determine its location. In addition to considering any obstacles on your property (trees, pipes, septic system, etc.), we recommend choosing a location with firm ground, no slope, and proper drainage. You must also ensure that you have obtained the required municipal permit before installation.
On installation day, we prepare the site by removing grass, plants, stones, and other debris, then leveling the ground perfectly. Before beginning the installation of the garden shed, we prepare the foundation that will support it. This ensures your garden shed rests on a solid base, remains stable over time, and is protected from moisture-related damage. Our sheds can be built on two types of flooring, depending on your needs: either on a concrete slab or on a wooden floor installed on concrete blocks set on a gravel base. This method creates a small air space beneath the floor to prevent moisture and mold. Depending on soil conditions, it is also possible to install the shed with a wooden floor on screw piles. The next step is erecting the walls and roof, followed by completing all exterior finishes. Finally, our experts install the doors, windows, and any interior accessories (depending on the selected model), as well as the exterior cladding, which is always installed on site in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
